Although Barbour jackets rock, the polarquilt zip-in liner is below average. First of all, it doesn't attach well to the jacket collar, so it kind of hangs, making it look bad and making it harder to put on the jacket. Secondly, it's not warm enough. Finally, the polar fabric rubs too much with any jumper you may wear.

I really like this insert. It's completely reversible. The only think I don't care for is that it only zips into my Ashby Jacket so that the fuzzy side is towards me. I'd prefer if the satin quilted side faced me. But other than that it's awesome.

I bought the Large as was recommended by Barbour.
Usual Size:
Ashby jacket is fitted so I got an XL. Barbour recommended that I get a size down for the liner.

So I purchased the Zip-in liner to complement my recently bought Bedford jacket to add additional warmth and I couldn't be more happy. The liner attached perfectly to the jacket and it's true to fit.

Quality of the liner is good. But when you put on your jacket with the liner zipped in, since the liner is not attached to the jacket at the bottom, and only by at button at the top, the liner tends to move quite a bit.
